Millennium Paris and Season Results

The dust has settled and the 2011 Millennium series has finished with the fantastic final event in Disney Land, Paris. Teams have been battling it out all season for promotion, the championships and for some, to avoid relegation… This final leg can mean glory for some while for others it could mean the end !

Planet Eclipse would like to congratulate all of our teams competing in the Millennium series in 2011.

The Overall Championships.
 
CPL…..Dynasty have been battling with Art Chaos all season, both teams being the ONLY teams to win any of the CPL Millennium series legs. But Art Chaos proved to be too strong throughout the season and pushed Dynasty into the Runners up spot. Icon have also had a great season finishing overall in 4th Position in the CPL.

SPL… The Semi Pro division is always played hard with several teams vying for the two promotion spots to the Pro division (CPL). Nothing was decided before Paris and teams put everything on the line to secure those automatic spots. Knocking on the door but just missing out this season were Dogs D Amour (3rd Overall) and Rangers Warsaw (4th Overall). Great results but just missing the big prize!

Div 1… Planet Eclipse Factory team, Manchester Firm won the first event but then dropped the ball in the second to open the doors for everyone else to close the gap. But with a very impressive back to back 1st place finish at events #3 and #4, Manchester Firm secured the Div 1 series championship as well as promotion into the SPL, closely followed by another Planet Eclipse team, Empire Venice, in 2nd Place. In fact the top four places and promoted teams to the SPL were ALL Planet Eclipse teams with Hulk coming in 3rd and Warsaw United taking the last promotion spot in 4th… Nice Work !

But to every team or player out there using Planet Eclipse gear, we salute you.

Win or Lose we still have your back!

Whenever we hear reports of any issues with our products – no matter how small – we like to jump on it as soon as possible, try our best to understand the root of the problem and then provide a definitive solution. Over the last couple of weeks we have received reports of some inconsistent air leaks from the frame and POPS area of the CS3. Every marker that we produce is thoroughly tested prior to packaging and shipping, but unfortunately these leaks have developed after shipping, and normally at temperatures below those that the markers experience in testing. This is generally down to contraction – or shrinkage – of seals that occurs as the temperature drops. The leak can be heard from around the grips or, with the grips removed, from the Regulator Hole A in the side of the frame. It can also be heard from the join between the bottom of the frame and the POPS. We have traced these leaks to what appears to be a bath of bottom tolerance 016 NBR70 o-rings used on the brass HPR Body (see

Is Paintball back in Malaysia ??????

We think it is and we are super excited about it. Penang Island Malaysia, Pearl of the Orient also known as the Prince of Wales Island founded by the British East India Company in 1786 by Sir Francis Light and made a British Crown Colony in 1867. An Free port Island made in spices and entrepot trading and resupplying ships to and from the Indian Ocean. Modern Penang is also a renowned tourist destination both for local and international visitors for its food, heritage, hotels, beaches, cruise terminal and family activities. This island rich with culture and ethnic diversity was also the venue of our Northern Paintball Super league – on May 12th and 13th. With the fullest support from the City Council of Penang – Majlis Bandaraya Pulau Pinang – MBPP, and hosted on Georgetown city centre’s beautiful Polo Grounds saw the largest paintball tournament, Penang International Cup in Malaysia of the past few years with 89 teams. It's officially the week of the world's biggest tournament paintball event on the Planet, the PSP World Cup in Orlando-Florida and we cannot wait! With so much up for grabs this year for our teams we're super excited to see how they all perform. For some, it's about finishing what they started in 2014, for others it's about putting the team in the best possible position for 2015's first event. To help our teams build some momentum this week, beyond providing them with equipment that looks great and performs flawlessly, we thought we'd have some fun with them on social media and generate some online rivalry between them, as well as getting some fan support along the way.
