MIL TAC Scenario Paintball event – 19th June 2011 Mil-Tac paintball is a tactical paintball format, played with ‘milsim’ kit and equipment to provide players with the most realistic and authentic experience possible, across the best scenario fields in Europe. The game is mission based, with real props and objectives based on authentic military operations and real-time comms and mission updates, encouraging an evolving and immersive game format. Limited ammo keeps the onus on strategy and tactics, making for a fairer fight, but also adding to the realism and military authenticity and allowing milsim players the opportunity to show off their gear and more importantly their skills. We are inviting players to attend this new milsim tactical/scenario paintball format at NPF, and will initially run across 3 gaming arenas: The Convoy arena (formerly Depot), the infamous ‘kill-house’ arena and the all new ‘Nam’ arena will be used for the MIL TAC inauguration. Boats & Hoes paintball team was formed by a group of old friends who have been playing paintball together since 1998. The core of the team traveled and played together on the national circuit from 2000 to 2005. At the end of the 2005 season the team split up, some of the players continued playing at the professional level and others left to pursue their lives outside of paintball. In April 2011, the idea for Boats & Hoes started brewing when after a 6 year hiatus Doug Auclair started playing again and decided that he wanted to play with all of his old friends. He sounded the conch horn (email) and put the call out to the troops to see if any of them were interested in playing some local NEPL events in the 7-man division just for the fun of playing paintball again. With the return of main players from injuries and the addition of 4 new players, Team Raskal is once again a team to be reckoned with this season. In this 7 Man format of the International Super Sevens Championships ISSC played at the Federal Capital Putrajaya, this year coincided with the Malaysian Youth Day celebrations. ISSC events is sponsored and fully supported by the Malaysian Ministry of Youth and Sports as part of its ongoing programmes of promotions of sports and games to its young people. Raskal's day started slow on Saturday in the preliminary rounds dropping 2 games out of 9 and finishing 2nd on the leader board. Shooting the awesome Ego11 and Geo 2 was an advantage when HPA pressured dropped to less than 3000psi due to a faulty air port valve. There were teams from Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia and Philippines, provided good strong games for Raskal.
