AZPPL- Bringing Paintball back to Arizona?

Image
Paintball in Arizona used to be thriving and died a few short years ago... Is it now time for Arizona to raise from the ashes? Here at Planet Eclipse HQ we certainly believe it is time and we are backing the AZPPL to be the ones to do it. Let’s see the Emortal Army kicking ass at the AZPPL ! http://azppl.org/

EPS Malaysia - New Beginning ???

Image
The Malaysian paintball industry is in turmoil and in sharp decline since the Royal Malaysian Police deemed that all paintball markers are Firearms and thus illegal to possess without a firearms License. The local paintball industry leaders has been lobbying and in constant dialogue with the Home Ministry and the Police to resolve this for nearly 2 years now as only a handful of paintball centres are legally licensed. They rest are still waiting…. In the meantime, an enterprising newly licensed paintball centre called Extreme Power Sports - EPS based 200kms north of the capital city Kuala Lumpur, came up with this brilliant idea to start the Extreme Paintball League - EPL. Consulted by TC Gan of Skirmish Paintball Asia, EPS purchased a bunch of brand new and licensed Planet Eclipse Etek 5 to use as a rental markers for their EPL tournament league. And to kick start and to revive the declining paintball industry, EPS sold paintballs at the first and subsequent EPL event from Ap

Rebels on Tour - Part #3

Image
Third leg of the Norwegian League was up, this time in Gjøvik. We had the weather on our side and the guys were ready to go all in after a well-earned summer vacation. We had a hard group this time, and knew we had to perform every point to make it through the prelims. First up was Dyelicious a mixteam with a hint of RMG Bratislava. It was tight points and flying penalties but it ended in a 4-2 loss for Rebels. Next up was Rønholt Blast, Rebels fought hard and managed to control and hold Blast mostly in the back bunkers. By the time the score was 3-1 to Rebels ,Blast knew they had to do something and tried a final push, but it was already too late and Rebels won 4-2. Last game in the prelims was Hardcore (yes, for you oldies in paintball,  you heard right – the infamous Swedes and Norwegians from 12 years ago did a small comeback) Unfortunately for the veterans the game has changed a bit in the last 12 years and Rebels won 4-0. In the semis we met Xspotz

Wild Bunch Charity Event - Battel For The Cure !

Image
As a central part of Wild Bunch’s team history, the team created a charity series called Hunt for the Cure.  Over the course of those games, the team helped raise nearly $100,000 to benefit Huntington’s Disease Society of America. After several years away from hosting charity games, Wild Bunch started a new charity series this year, Battle for the Cure.  The new series is raising funds to find a cure for Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), an inherited disease that can affect children, sometimes fatally.  SMA was recently highlighted by the CDC as the disease closest to a cure. Despite facing the hottest day of the year, Wild Bunch’s event drew nearly 100 players for this first year, and they raised nearly $6,000.  Wild Bunch is excited about where this new series is headed, and they plan to expand to their use of creative props, unique missions, and memorable trophies and awards as part of this series’ future.   Loks like fun, no idea what is happening her
