Norway's Molde Xtreme took the 2024 Norwegian Paintball League (NPL) Elite Division honours in fine style! Consistency has always been the key to winning titles. Yes, winning events is the most exciting and impressive way of doing it, but ultimately you need to maintain a high level of performance consistently to give your team a shot at the season title. And Molde Xtreme did just that. After a 4th place finish at the first event, they stepped things up in round two taking a solid 2nd place. So things were looking up and they found their sweet spot, but with just two more rounds to go they knew what they needed to do; strong podium placings were the minimum requirement for success. Round three saw them take an impressive 1st place finish which gave them all the momentum they needed heading into the final round. Our favourite Portuguese men of paintball war, Sporting CP, have been having a season! They make the journey to the UK for each round of the UK's premiere paintball series, the CPPS which in itself is admirable. Competing in the Series' highest division, Elite, is no easy task. The whole division is stacked but the top 5 teams really are the very best the UK has to offer, with the likes of The Lucky 15s and Manchester Firm fighting to claim the title on home soil. The City Council of Penang Island Mayors Cup or Piala Datuk Bandar Majlis Bandaraya Pulau Pinang 2024 was held on 22 nd – 23 rd June at the city centre’s Polo Grounds field. This would be the largest paintball tournament in Malaysia to date and hosted by the The City Council of Penang Island in cooperation with Raskal Sports Sdn Bhd and Kelab Paintball Mambong. Penang Island Malaysia, Pearl of the Orient also known as the Prince of Wales Island founded by the British East India Company in 1786 by Sir Francis Light and made a British Crown Colony in 1867. Cards on the table, and it's a bit of a running joke between ourselves and our awesome French buddies at Camp Paintball; every year there is an exceptional series of events called the French National Championships featuring the very best French teams, so the action is incredible. But we always find it confusing... even though it actually isn't. So the “Championnat de France” (French National Championship) is the pinnacle of all French Leagues throughout France. All main Region in France run their Leagues, affiliated to the French Federation (FFP - Fédération Française de Paintball) and at the end of the season, the best Teams in each Division qualify for the “Championnat de France”. SaD - Staffordshire and District Paintball Club.  SaD are one of the biggest Paintball clubs in the UK and have chosen Planet Eclipse markers as their marker of choice, which makes us really proud. SaD have teams in many different divisions and in many different formats and Planet Eclipse has the perfect marker for each level be that mech, mid range or high end. We got you covered.. Clubs structures are amazing to see players progress through the ranks (and drop down if need be). But you always need to look up and down and that is what SaD have done this season with a New Elite squad at the CPPS's highest division and also a SaD Academy, bringing in the youth at the Breakout Division. The SaD program is running strong and have already picked up 4 x 2nd place trophies this year.  BEIRA-MAR CONFIENERGY PAINTBALL TEAM  1ST EVENT PORTUGUESE NATIONAL LEAGUE On March 26th , the first stage of Portuguese national paintball league took place in Lisbon. The first of five stages.  After almost 2 years of pandemic related problems, Beira-Mar Gold and Silver got back on the main stage of Portuguese Paintball. Unfortunately the pandemic brake brought on big changes and Beira-Mar needed to reform both team roosters. Beira-Mar Silver had a tougher mission during the prelims. The first two games we were able to bring a tie and a win. However the last two games we faced the teams that would advance into the finals. We lost these games and didn’t make it to the finals :-( Beira-Mar Gold started the prelims with a couple of rough games. The first game was still a victory but the second was a close 3 to 2 loss.  #29 Clint Moore. As one of the UK's most successful players, Clint's playing career has been something to envy for many. Throughout his evolution as a player his consistency and ability to deliver, against all odds, at all levels, is legendary and has lead him to play with some of Europe's very best teams, including a stint with Russian powerhouses Art Chaos. Clint is living proof that the desire to compete and to perform never leaves you and neither does work ethic. If you build it they will come. After two seasons of perfecting Leadfarmer's Gulag, this Speedmag tournament as we like to call it, has caught the attention of many paintballers. It is a bridge between the two main paintball classes, a 5 vs 5 tournament on a speedball field, speedball rules but with Magfed markers.  Many Magfed players have showed up and put their skill to the test. One player said "It's so intense and fast-paced...I truly have a new-found respect for speedball. This has been the highlight of my season".  The Gulag also saw tournament players try Magfed markers for the first time, it was a big change for them. Yes, i t’s happened again! A recent shipment from the UK to Germany had a pallet cut open and 40 EMF100’s stolen. Nobody was hurt and investigations are still carrying on but it does mean that there are some stolen EMF100 markers out in the wild, and in the hands of criminals. We will register these on our database and if any of these markers surface we will report the details to the police. At this stage we don't know if the markers were taken in the UK or in transit to Germany however, the UK Police in Kent have taken on the case and the crime reference number is 46/123918/21 . If you buy these markers, even if they are cheap, we give the criminals a reason to steal more and next time it might be your pride and joy that is stolen. Now that CF20 mags are hitting the stores around the World we have heard a few people saying that the winding up of mag isn’t easy. Well, firstly always make sure that the top mag roller shutter door is OPEN when you wind the CF20 mag up that will make it a lot easier. Second, you can always use a 1/8 " Allen key (velocity key) to wind up the mag and if that’s not good enough here are a couple of other solutions you might like. Paintball.de have prototype winders in stock and are very inexpensive. Simple easy wind up tool: CLICK HERE We also designed one here for winding up the test mags over and over again and had it 3D printed. A little on the over engineered side but does a great job of winding up in seconds. We have uploaded this ‘crank’ design for people to download (for free) and to 3D print if they would like. Something very cool happened in France recently, which impacted us not only as a business, but more importantly it impacted paintball as a sport. One of the young players on team RNPPC was awarded support from the Municipal Sport Department. Not only is this just a cool thing to happen to Julien (the player) but it's even cooler that they, as a body, recognised and rewarded someone within paintball.
