The Manchester Firm Open Day - 28th November The Manchester Firm will be holding an Open day on Sunday the 28th of November. The aim of the day will be to introduce new players to our squad. We are not necessarily looking for people with vast experience and welcome players both new and seasoned to join us. You must have the right attitude and a strong desire to improve your game being able to train at least twice a month and not only listen to helpful advice but act on it. We train as a squad, not just on a team basis. Due to this, players of varying levels of ability and experience are mixed together during training to ensure not only a fair and level playing field, but also the opportunity to learn from the best. Training takes place at the excellent CPPS site located near Penkridge in Staffordshire. This year, our X-Ball team were placed 2nd overall just behind Birmingham Disruption in the CPPS with our 5 Man team placing 1st. We also finished in a very respectable 3rd place Divisio...

Aaron Hebeisen from ISU Cyclone gave Planet Eclipse a quick run down of there first event of the season.... ISU Cyclone Gold were dominating all day, only dropping 3 matches in the prelims. We blew through UW Steven's Point and UW-Platteville Orange in 2 games each. We went 2-1 with Platteville Black and 1-2 against UW-Platteville Blue (P-Vegas). They are the only X-ball team in our division and always show up to play. After a two hour break, which seemed to kill everyone's momentum, we were ranked 5th and matched against the 6th ranked NDSU Bison. We played three grind out games against them, but they held out longer, which carried them to the semi-finals. ISU Red also had a solid day, and final rankings became the factor that ended up giving them a lower ranking. There ranking definitely reflect the way they played throughout the day. Our Egos and Geos performed flawlessly all day, which allowed us to concentrate on our playing instead of gun problems. This was also the...

The Season Finale is all over… The dust has settled and the winners have been crowned. As we all know this is THE event to win. If you can be crowned World Champion you hold those bragging rights right through until it all kicks off again next season. As well as the teams, the trade also turn out in force at World Cup. The full official launch of the Planet Eclipse EGO11 took place at World Cup and by Sunday the entire inventory had sold out, even down to the markers that Operation Sandbaggers (Planet Eclipse Staff) had been using at the event were wiped down and sold as 2nd hand. The World Cup still holds strong in the hearts and mind of the players and industry…. If there is one event to visit… it’s the World Cup. Planet Eclipse would like to congratulate all of our teams that have played around the world in 2010. It’s been another fantastic year for the Emortal Army winning a whole host of events worldwide, probably are best year yet. Eclipse teams also finished strong at World Cup ...

Desert Edge started the 2010 season with not only high hopes, but high expectations in their quest for season title in the UWL for 2010. Especially after a mere FIVE points placed them in second place following Bob Long’s Assassins for 2009. But Desert Edge had more in their plans for 2010 than just winning the series in the Open Division. They planned to sweep the series in all three divisions (Open, Tactical & Skills) with three separate teams. How is it possible to field three teams at a given event? Desert Edge is not only one of the largest woods Paintball teams in the United States, but they take competition seriously. While Scenario Paintball is very much a part of the roots of the team, competition paintball is where Desert Edge has found their home. The UWL has been the perfect place for them to exercise this passion. With the support of Planet Eclipse we feel anything is possible The 2010 season started....good, but not great for Desert Edge. Their Open Division Tea...
