Red Dot Tournaments in Washington
May 28th 2011 Red Dot Paintball is pleased to announce our first tournament series that will run this summer. This is mainly a tune-up tournament, strategically placed in between major tournament dates, for west coast based teams to keep their edge prior to bigger tournament dates. In addition, our beginner division is an attempt to revive tournament paintball in Eastern Washington. Many of you remember the popular Grandview Tournaments held in Grandview, Washington. The Tournaments were strategically scheduled to fit in-between other higher profile tournaments to give players opportunity to get quality competition in an organized event. Following in their tradition, Red Dot Paintball has transitioned the tournaments from Grandview to the Tri-Cities. Utilizing our artificial turf field we will offer the same format (4-man open and intermediate and 3-man beginner) that the Grandview tradition was known for. There will be three divisions. London Impact Winning Ways.
Sunday 24th April saw the second leg of the UK Masters paintball series which was held at Bricket Wood, this was a new series for London Impact but we thought we would enter ourselves in Division 1 to see how we got on. This was also the first time we had been able to see and use the Bitburg field layout as it had only been released a few days prior to the event. The morale of the team was high and with the arrival of 3 new players, things were looking good come 9:00am when the first game was played. We were down to play 8 games and after walking the field and coming up with some breakouts we were ready for our first game. All was going well for the first 3 matches and our breakouts were working well losing only 1-2 players per game, Then we lost our fourth game and after discussions as to what went wrong we mixed up our game plan and didn’t drop another point for the rest of the day. Gotcha - Mexico !!
1st Tournament Gotcha Aguascalientes San Markers Day 24 April The 2011 season has been a very busy year so far. Attending many local tournaments, hosting the first MPL event and now just attending our first scenario event, San Markers Gotcha (Gotcha means paintball in Mexico). This is Karla Andrade Alvarez , representative of Extreme Sports Mexico (Planet Eclipse’s Exclusive Distributor for all of Mexico). Extreme Sports Mexico supplies all of Mexico with Planet Eclipse product, attends and supports tournaments and scenario events and offers full technical support on all Eclipse markers. Just last month we hosted our first national event of the year in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The series is called MPL ( www.mpl.com.mx ).
