NPL (Norway) Season Finale

Image
The Norwegian season is over and we can look back at a lot of great paintball-games and awesome moves. This year the Norwegian paintball federation took over the series. Their mission was to run it “the player’s way”. The feedback after the season was good, and they are working on making it even better next year. We had 4 legs of NPL (Norwegian Paintball League), Gjøvik, Degernes, Skarnes and the season finale was on the Rønholt arena. Over 40 teams in 4 divisions participated in the series, and the divisions was tight. No one was sure to be on the podium before the finals. That’s how we like it. J Throughout the season, the top 3 in Pro have been varied between Blast, Knights and Dynamite so the last event would decide the overall-winner. The winner of pro could also crown themselves with the title National Master – Norway’s best team 2019. In the prelims, Blast won all their games. Dynamite had 1 win, 1 loose (against Blast) and one draw. Knights had 2 wins and ...

Adventures at NXL Amsterdam

For the past few years, since Christmas day 2013, the Malaysian paintball industry suffered greatly with the introduction of paintball marker controls which required Firearm permits or licenses to own and use. All paintball fields, centres, paintball events and tournaments collapsed and closed down together with all the paintball stores. However to buck the trend, with careful negotiation with the Federal authorities and with the full hearted sponsorship, support, advise and encouragement from Ledz at Planet Eclipse, the Eclipse Paintball Series EPS - was born and began operation in early 2015. Adhering to strict SOP from the Federal authorities, paintball tournaments were brought back to life but not without its difficulties and hard work. After 5 hard and long years, EPS paintball series successfully bore fruits with the recognition by Planet Eclipse, ProShar, Virtue and GOG Paintball and becoming ProShar EPS in 2019. The vision of EPS is to revive the local paintball indus...

The End of Eclipse Splashes?

Image
Splash Anodising… You could almost say it’s in our blood. A LONG time ago we started having some of the most famous splash colour ways done to a variety of Eclipse Custom markers. We're not talking about EGOs or GEOs at this point, way before that. Cockers, Automags, Shockers, Angels, Spyders, Impulses... the list is pretty long. Some of those splash names and colour combos are still loved and coveted today, such as Banzai Green, Fire, Ice, Speedy Blue and Electric Skies to name a few. An early Eclipse Fire Splash AutoMag Unfortunately for us, the company who created our splash designs back in the day (we're talking about early 90’s) stopped doing the custom splash anodising many years ago so the art of getting it done and done right in the UK lay dormant, until we found someone else to start up the classic colour ways again. This was exciting, so as well as our much-loved classic splash designs we decided to create a few future classics too such as Shock Splash, Riddle ...

Piratas Panama came with something to prove at the last event of the 507paintball series.  After a disappointing 4 place in the first event and 2nd place at event number 2, It was time to put everything together to try and win the series D3  championship. Piratas Panama knew the Series championship was still within reach . During this last event of the year they fought hard thru prelim on Saturday, and during semi they face a tough team, Piel Rojas, it came down to the last minute and Piratas manage a 4-3 Win. At the finals they were going to face another Planet Eclipse team, Chronic Chaos from Aruba, also contenders to take the series championship. As expected, it was a close match both teams had the chance to win.  At the end, it was a referees call that made the difference between the two teams.  Nevertheless, it was quite a sight to watch the best two teams of the series battle it out for the title. Chronic Chaos won this event, bu...
