The Millennium in England have been in a lot of different places during the years, the most memorable for me was Crystal Palace Stadium 2003 with 8 different fields to walk. And no, there was no possibility to practice on the fields beforehand and we were the lucky winners of playing 7 of 8 fields that tournament. And to get around it was a walk of a lifetime, but it was still spectacular with the big bleachers and sport-arena feel. The last few years the events have been held in Basildon in a place called Barleylands Farm. It took some getting used to for the players driving through farms with its distinctive smell and being greated with a red carpet of hay - but i think it has a certain charm to it . Ultimately the fields are the most important for us, and the grass is good there :) The weather in England also has it's charm sometimes, this time was no different - sun, rain, cold and heat all on the same day. Super 7's Paintball Series  Round 3, the Planet Eclipse Open is finished and what a fantastic event for the team. We were able to assert strong control in most of our games with a clear 4-point mercy victory in all but 2 of our preliminary matches. We were able to keep this momentum into finals, winning both matches with the 4-point mercy and taking the title. The level of play this event was fantastic and it was clear early on that this was going to be a 4 horse race with top level teams from WA and NZ entering into the mix. Teams were all playing the exciting layout slightly differently and it made from some really good and interesting games.   The lads all played great paintball and as always we were well supported with our amazing Geo's and soft goods from  Planet Eclipse . Also our KLR masks, TFX hoppers, HK Supreme paint and soft goods from  HK Army performed fantastically. One major advantage we had this weekend was how dependable our gear was on

***PLEASE NOTE*** Ryan obviously likes to run things very close to the edge. We set the ROF to 10 because we have seen chronos register very different reading especially when the battery gets low. We wouldn't recommend anyone running at 10.4 or 10.5 in the NXL, Millennium Etc and thus set them at 10 to be on the safe side... But that’s a risk you might want to take !!! On Friday July 23 rd , some of the members of Black Karma assembled to perform our pre-game ritual.   This may differ from some teams, but it works for us: we eat and reminisce on our many times of hilarity and general merriment.   Of course this tends to be like a pen light that gets passed around pointing to each of us where we relive the catalogue of poor decisions and unbelievable moves each of us have performed.   We also catch up on each other’s “non-paintball” lives.   This is truly where we gel as a team. As Saturday begins, we each prepare for UWL Tennessee at Bearclaw Paintball.   This is where we go over the game plan for the field and start podding up.   We quickly watch the breakout for the first 10 man match and prepare for our first game against an open team.   Our review of the breakouts is not due to our lack of knowledge of the field (as this is our home field), but more to see how everyone else “reads” the field – its always cool to see how other folks rea

Bad puns aside, we're always blown away when fans of the sport, and our brand, feel passionate enough to have a skilled artist draw on them in the special way that will never come off.
