This video made me smile... We all know that Paintball is an amazing sport and I'm sure we all love it for many different reasons. But when you watch this video the pure joy when Zombie Girl shoots someone or wins the game just bring a little joy to the screen.... I think it safe to say that Zombie Girl won this day, EMG100 FTW :-) FYI.. The place of filming is not a proper Paintball venue. It is a small, private, secret training location, thus some of the less than desirable bunkers / parking. I hope Mo's Car wash has a new sign :-) #PaintballStrong

Warped Sports have been at the forefront of developing a successful ‘club’ structure in the UK with a pretty big active membership base playing anything and everything from several teams playing airball at the CPPS, tournament woodsball teams, big game and Scenario teams and I’m sure even some MagFed players. The Warped Paintball Club structure allows players from a huge variant of backgrounds to join a club and be part of something, make new likeminded friends, play for a team with a way of fighting through the ranks to one day playing on the Elite squad and even for Team GB which several of the players have achieved.  When Warped Sports approached Planet Eclipse and said they had chosen Planet Eclipse to be the marker of choice for their Wolverhampton Warped Elite team for 2020 we were over the moon. Over the years I think we can say that we have been on the cutting edge of metal finishes. We helped develop the original Splash which lead the wave of fades and acid wash that we saw in the 90's. Planet was the first to create the cool Aurora finish on markers and we have developed some amazing custom graphic anodising finishes and our full body wraps, like the HDE Camo pattern. We have even commissioned an artist that specialisted in anodising art to make us something super special, but let’s just say artistic differences stopped that project from going much further. When we visit real gun shows like IWA and Shot Show I’m always impressed with the 'Show Pieces' that some vendors create for display. I have tried several times to speak to them about how they do it and who does it but I got stone walled every time. At this year’s Paintfest I sat in the bar the night before it all started with Ainsley, Owner of Lucky 15’s Elite Paintball team, and we got talking to a few guys from team South Coast Reapers about all things Paintball and one of the things that we took note of was how they, as a young inexperienced team, struggle to work out any game plans when they play the CPPS airball tournaments.  So I asked if Planet Eclipse sponsored team Lucky 15’s could help in some way. Luck is important. But a good plan is essential. The Lucky 15’s are the best current team in the UK. I don’t think anyone will argue with that statement. They have done it all themselves, learnt on the job, trained hard and honed their skills to be where they are today. On Sunday, May 26, 2019, Baltimore Paintball League hosted their Mid-Season Mayhem Tournament, which Wanna-Play’s Factory Team signed up for. The WPP Factory Team has been around for many years, stemming into the early 2000’s, but for this particular event we had 4 fresh players with little to no tournament experience on our line. The guys were pretty excited to play and they got some looks as they geared up, since we are usually known as “the team in camo”, so they must be woodball players, right?!?! …WRONG!!! Our guys practiced and worked hard all spring, practicing drills and plays, not only finessing their individual game, but their game as a team. It was now their time to see how they handled the pressure and to put all their time well spent to the test. As it typically goes, we were one of the first games of the day. Here at Planet Eclipse we pride ourselves on our network of service centers  around the World, putting factory trained technicians on the ground at hundreds of locations to support our players and customers. But there is a cost to doing this, and that cost is usually shouldered by the Planet Eclipse Distributors and dealers in their specific regions. There are some players that choose to "grey import" markers into protected territories from dealers outside of their region. These players then expect the local dealer, in their area, to fix their marker free of charge when they have a problem or need a service/tune up. In order for our local distributor, Raskal Sports, to be able to continue to support our products in the way that you, our customers, deserve, we will be implementing a new warranty system in Malaysia. The CPPS have just dropped a video letting people know about a division that they call 'Breakout'. It's aimed at NEW teams starting out and lets them parachute into tourney Paintball with a nice soft landing. Lower FPS (Feet per second) Speed, Semi Auto, Wider Start Gates, NO Sandbagging to name a few. I bet not many people even know there is an NXL Asia?? Well, there is and our friends from Raskal Sports in Malaysia made the trip to NXL Asia a few weeks ago to try their luck there. Raskal Sport formed a scratch team of Malaysia’s most solid Planet Eclipse/Raskal Sports sponsored players and made the trip to Australia.  Guess what they called the squad... 'Raskal Sports'  Team 'Raskal Sports' had a solid prelims and went directly into the semi-finals by qualifying second in the division. From there on out they simply outclassed the opposition only dropping a single point in the semis and achieving a clean 4-0 sweep at the finals giving them the victory! Their CS2s performed admirably all weekend long, with ankle-deep mud and stagnant pools of dirty water facing them both in and outside the field. Thanks to solid players and a solid gun, the Open Division Champions trophy was theirs to take back to Malaysia along with the bragging rights :-). Team “EJPC...

On the 18th and 19th of August, the third stage of the Argentine Paintball Tournament (TAP) was held at Campo Revolution Paintball - San Vicente (Buenos Aires) With the participation of 30 teams (more than 300 players).The weather had not been great and the morning of the event was cold, about 11 degrees celsius. But the game got on the way and all was good until 1pm when a a storm sweeps the field .....  Not a bad view from the Tech Tent... Turning the venue into a very muddy mess. Luckily the Planet Eclipse tech was on hand to support the players that needed help.. Some more than other! For the first time a team from Brazil made the journey to TAP,Spider Team from Rio de Janeiro (fourth place in the event) showing that the TAP is gaining recognition outside of Argentina. This Saturday (8th September) at the Eclipse Open at the CPPS will see the annual 2-man Championship to support Team GB. £10 a head (£20 a team), 32 teams maximum. half of the entrance fee's will go to 1st Place (the other half goes to Team GB), along with 2 x Planet Eclipse Holdalls and some Planet Eclipse goodies, a trophy and Champions Medals as well of course as being crowned 2-man Champions 2018! It wasn’t long ago that everyone’s efforts focused on getting Paintball onto TV. Some would say we failed but if you mention Paintball to the public these days 95% of people will know what Paintball is. Most probably have the wrong impression, but that’s a conversation for another day. So to give us all a little smile and a well needed win here is something my 4 year old son is collecting. The fact that Lego have made a Lego character and now a Paintball Lego trading card I’d say you can almost call us mainstream :-) Got to love the name they came up with for the player ‘Canvas’ Who on your paintball team would you call ‘Canvas’ ???
