🚨 NXL 2025 Firmware Update Alert 🚨

Image
As the 2025 NXL Season nears the game-on buzzer we recommend all players install the latest firmware update for their high-end Eclipse markers. This update –  Ver 1-6-1  – is only available for the following MME Platform CS3, EGO LV2 and Geo R5. This version of firmware has been created specifically to address some concerns raised at the 2024 NXL World Cup by the refs and organisers. These concerns were focused around players knowingly, or accidentally, adjusting the NXL 2016 Preset outside the legal NXL firing mode rules. The adjustments of the KICK-IN, SUSTAIN, and RESTART parameters resulted in unacceptable ramping behaviours. This latest firmware version contains the new 'NXL 25' Preset which functions exactly the same as the NXL 2016 preset but it cannot be adjusted outside of the legal NXL Firing Mode Rules. This is NOT a different firing mode; it is purely there to assist the referees in quickly and effectively identifying if a marker is 100% legal, without wasting prec...

The Colour Purple 💜

We always love to see new teams join the Planet Eclipse family and here we are welcoming the exciting Toulouse Purple Semi Pro team with open arms. Our good friends at Camp Paintball in France had this to say about their new signing:   We are delighted to announce that the Toulouse Purple Club and its Teams have chosen to shoot the Planet Eclipse CS3 & Geo R5 markers from now on. At last, they'll be able to shoot the most fragile paint available and rely on the proven reliability of Planet markers. Firmly focused on the future and working hard on a daily basis, the Toulouse Purple Club will benefit from comprehensive training with our official Tech Éric "cheveux" Spitzmuller, so that they in turn can pass on advice, information and tips. We're particularly pleased with this choice, which is in line with our desire to be as close as possible to our players and teams. We have no doubts about the Club's future performance! WE GOT YOUR BACK! Well, we echo the sent...

Vive la France 🇫🇷

Image
Cards on the table, and it's a bit of a running joke between ourselves and our awesome French buddies at Camp Paintball; every year there is an exceptional series of events called the French National Championships featuring the very best French teams, so the action is incredible. But we always find it confusing... even though it actually isn't. So we've asked our buddies at Camp to explain the story so far, seeing as we actually sponsor and support the teams who kick serious ass at every event. Take it away Richard! So the “Championnat de France” (French National Championship) is the pinnacle of all French Leagues throughout France. All main Region in France run their Leagues, affiliated to the French Federation (FFP - Fédération Française de Paintball) and at the end of the season, the best Teams in each Division qualify for the “Championnat de France”. After a blank year due to COVID, the Event took place at Ace Paintball in Dreux. It’s 1 hour from Paris and so far, the s...

The End of Eclipse Splashes?

Image
Splash Anodising… You could almost say it’s in our blood. A LONG time ago we started having some of the most famous splash colour ways done to a variety of Eclipse Custom markers. We're not talking about EGOs or GEOs at this point, way before that. Cockers, Automags, Shockers, Angels, Spyders, Impulses... the list is pretty long. Some of those splash names and colour combos are still loved and coveted today, such as Banzai Green, Fire, Ice, Speedy Blue and Electric Skies to name a few. An early Eclipse Fire Splash AutoMag Unfortunately for us, the company who created our splash designs back in the day (we're talking about early 90’s) stopped doing the custom splash anodising many years ago so the art of getting it done and done right in the UK lay dormant, until we found someone else to start up the classic colour ways again. This was exciting, so as well as our much-loved classic splash designs we decided to create a few future classics too such as Shock Splash, Riddle ...

Eclipse Dominate in France!

Image
What a fantastic result! The French Championships are a very well respected series of events with some great teams competing for the prestigious honours. And the latest event was dominated by Eclipse teams... which is nice. Paris Camp Carnage managed to take 1st place spot in D1 (beating the Ton Tons yet again). Martigny Lions took top honours in D2, meaning they now qualify for D1 in 2019. And the RNPPC under 16s team, who all played with Etha2s took first place in their division. What can we say? Other than résultat fantastique! For more information about the championships check out the official website > HERE <

3 from 3: NXL Pro Debutants - Sacramento DMG

Image
And last, but not least we caught up with the 2017 NXL semi-pro champions – Sacramento DMG – to find out about their Pro debut in Vegas. 1 – NXL Vegas was your Pro debut, which is a massive step for any team. In your opinion, how did Vegas go for you guys?  2018 NXL Las Vegas Open was an opportunity to learn for Sacramento DMG. We had our new equipment, and everything was feeling to par! Our DMG edition CS2’s were flawless, making it a breeze to focus on the game. However, as a team we made mistakes; we also made very high level intelligent plays. We had goals set for the event that we left on the table. Though, we prospered in what could have just been a negative outlook for that event. We came together and talked and talked about the moment, and the future. We truly saw what we could do when we were all instinctively operating intelligently in unison. We are a force to be. It is only a matter of time. 2 – Let’s talk matches. Which game made you guys realise Pro...
