Mutant Warfare

Image
Team Capital Offense   attended the "Mutant Warfare" Scenario from Guru Games at Sherwood Forest. This event utilized next gen technology replacing outdated flag stations with digital & RFID technology.  Picture Courtesy of: Matthew Walton of Guru Games  Player ca rds are now tied to the scenario and are no longer just for chronos and safety briefs. Players use their cards to capture flag stations, acquire props and return for points, conduct game missions and more.  Picture courtesy of: Jon Barber The score was tracked in real time using Wi-Fi and RFID technology and a virtual game map was displayed that showed faction control as it happened.  Players were also able to score points individually and see their ranking on the leaderboard.  Developed by Matthew "MrEspn" Walton of Guru Games, the game also integrated Discord for live event updates and VOIP chats. Is Paintball back in Malaysia ??????

An Free port Island made in spices and entrepot trading and resupplying ships to and from the Indian Ocean. Modern Penang is also a renowned tourist destination both for local and international visitors for its food, heritage, hotels, beaches, cruise terminal and family activities. Vive la France 🇫🇷

Image
Cards on the table, and it's a bit of a running joke between ourselves and our awesome French buddies at Camp Paintball; every year there is an exceptional series of events called the French National Championships featuring the very best French teams, so the action is incredible. But we always find it confusing... even though it actually isn't. So we've asked our buddies at Camp to explain the story so far, seeing as we actually sponsor and support the teams who kick serious ass at every event. Take it away Richard! So the “Championnat de France” (French National Championship) is the pinnacle of all French Leagues throughout France. All main Region in France run their Leagues, affiliated to the French Federation (FFP - Fédération Française de Paintball) and at the end of the season, the best Teams in each Division qualify for the “Championnat de France”. After a blank year due to COVID, the Event took place at Ace Paintball in Dreux. It’s 1 hour from Paris and so far, the s...

Emortal Army Legends #3 - Nick Slowiak

Image
#23 Nick Slowiak Next up, one of paintball's nicest dudes and a real ambassador for the sport on many levels. Whether socially or professionally, Nick has a positive influence and approach to everything, and he's a true asset wherever he goes. As a player he's focused, determined, he digs deep and gives his all to get the job done. He uses his vast experience to compete at the highest level and to educate those who are growing into the sport.  We genuinely believe that paintball is a better place when Nick is around. As with all the Emortals we asked him these 3 simple questions: Favourite paintball moment? One of the best memories in my life was winning the NPPL Las Vegas Championship in 2011. To be able to win that event with my friends, old and new, was incredible. To be able to do it against the most winningest team, arguably the best in the history of tournament paintball, also made it all the sweeter. That whole year was rough and even though it ended with my first pr...

Emortal Army Legends #2 - Mike Bruno

Image
#5 Mike Bruno They don't come more passionate than our next Emortal. Mike Bruno has had a legendary playing career, notably dominating everyone with Aftershock in the early years. He's consistently been an aggressive and scary player during paintball's development years and continues to be influential today. His fight and spirit is something to behold and he can be a truly motivating force. Many of the game's most aggressive players today wouldn't exist if it wasn't for Mike. As with all Emortals, we asked him the same 3 questions. Favourite paintball moment? My favorite paintball moment(s) would surely be when I was a young man and the very first 4 events I played were as pro, with Aftershock (of course) and we won them all (of course). It doesn’t get sweeter than that. Favourite Eclipse marker you've used? My favourite and best marker is the one in the photo. My Mike Bruno 05 GEO GSL. The best. What's the story behind your number? The story behind my p...

Bringing the Latino Heat 🔥

Image
There have been quite a few changes in the wake of the 2021 NXL Professional Paintball season, one of which being the formation of a new Latin Pro team named the Latin Saints. This team has a solid roster with familiar faces either playing, or working within the organisation, and these guys mean business. We're tipping the Saints to really stick it to their opponents in 2022, so expect to see them knocking on the Sunday Club door quite early in the season. Team Coach Diego Santos said this about our partnership: Latin Saints are proud to announce that we will be shooting Planet Eclipse markers for the 2022 season.  We feel that Planet Eclipse has a long and rich history of making the best markers in paintball. We understand that to perform at the highest  level you need reliable equipment and service, which Planet Eclipse provide. We are beyond exited to have them as a sponsor for our first year in the NXL professional division. 2022 is already shaping up to be an entertaining...

You won't believe what we found at PE HQ 😲

Image
Sorry, we couldn't resist the dumb click-baity title (we hate them with a passion) but it's true. We had a big clean up at Planet Eclipse HQ and genuinely found something incredible. Two things in fact! We’ve all found something cool when cleaning behind the sofa. A boiled sweet, a coin, maybe even a fiver but we were astounded by what we found during a lockdown clean up.  Ledz and the guys decided to clear out the forgotten corners at Planet Eclipse HQ and found not one, but TWO RAW GSLs that had somehow slipped the net. Some of the guys wanted to keep them, others wanted to hide them but we decided to do something special with them. So we sent them over to Arc Anodising in the USA to create two very special one-offs. One is a vintaged-rust-high-gloss hybrid which is stunning and the other looks like our classic Aurora finish. Both are truly incredible markers that will be a welcome addition to anyone’s collection AND will be more than up to the job of ripping things up on the...

Lords of the O-Rings 🙄

Image
Ok terrible pun, we couldn't resist, but in these crazy times many of you are dusting off the hex keys, actually opening the spares baggy and in some (rare) cases, reading the manuals we create. Unbelievable right? Well, we've another tech support treat for you; we're currently developing our own Planet Eclipse O-Ring Finder App. It isn't finished yet but we've decided to release it to a limited number of 'first come, first served' Beta testers. Which can be any of you! Getting the App isn't super-simple at the moment, due to its Beta Test status, but if you want to get involved while you have the time and inclination then follow the instructions below. Please note: The O-Ring App is only available for Apple devices running iOS13 at the moment. Getting Started: 1 - Make sure your device is running iOS13 2 - Install TestFlight (Beta Test app) from the App Store to allow you to Beta Test: https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/testflight/id899247664...

Emortal 'Zombie Girl' having fun !!!

Image
This video made me smile... We all know that Paintball is an amazing sport and I'm sure we all love it for many different reasons. But when you watch this video the pure joy when Zombie Girl shoots someone or wins the game just bring a little joy to the screen.... I think it safe to say that Zombie Girl won this day, EMG100 FTW :-) FYI.. The place of filming is not a proper Paintball venue. It is a small, private, secret training location, thus some of the less than desirable bunkers / parking. I hope Mo's Car wash has a new sign :-) #PaintballStrong

Warped Sports join the Emortal Army

Image
Warped Sports have been at the forefront of developing a successful ‘club’ structure in the UK with a pretty big active membership base playing anything and everything from several teams playing airball at the CPPS, tournament woodsball teams, big game and Scenario teams and I’m sure even some MagFed players. The Warped Paintball Club structure allows players from a huge variant of backgrounds to join a club and be part of something, make new likeminded friends, play for a team with a way of fighting through the ranks to one day playing on the Elite squad and even for Team GB which several of the players have achieved.  When Warped Sports approached Planet Eclipse and said they had chosen Planet Eclipse to be the marker of choice for their Wolverhampton Warped Elite team for 2020 we were over the moon. Due to the nature of a club structure we understand that not everyone in the club will be shooting Planet Eclipse markers, you can’t expect a new member to join and then HAVE...

EMG100 for the win !

Emortal - Zombiegirl video.

Image
SanDiego Giant Paintball Park, Lakeside, California  Zombiegirl hasn't been playing Paintball for long (about a year) and she is certainly learning on the job. But Zombiegirl isn't scared to get in and mix it up with all the players shooting 'Speedball Markers' which we absolutely love... Zombiegirl also got one of the first Quake Barrels to try. She is using round ball in this video but she likes the CQB (short) set-up.  How many of you would go head to head against ramping electro markers using only a Magfed Marker?  Follow Zombie Girl Here: https://www.facebook.com/theresa.moran.71
