The Manchester Firm Open Weekend
The weekend is designed to bring both new and seasoned players into our already very strong squad and will be a fantastic opportunity to learn from highly experienced and talented players.
We are looking to take on players of varying levels of experience, so don’t worry if you feel that you are not already a super star… that is something we can help you with!
We train hard and if you have the aptitude and to learn, training with us will improve your game quicker than you think. The results are plain to see in both the CPPS domestic events and the Millennium European Series that we take part in.
Our squad is broken down as follows:
The Manchester Firm (SPL)
Recently promoted to the Millennium Series Semi-Professional League after gaining 3 first places during the season, we are potentially looking to add additional talented players to this team. Do you have what it takes to mix it with the best?
The Manchester Firm EDS (Elite development squad)
Training regularly with the SPL team, the EDS squad is for players with a good amount of experience who want to up their game. This team has gained a string of 1st places in the CPPS open X-Ball and vastly improved over the Millennium season.
The Firm Academy
Aimed towards younger or players quite new to the sport. This team will train with the SPL and EDS teams on a regular basis and will be a fast track way to work on and improve your skills.
Our current Academy team has seen several players progress onto the EDS team in a very short space of time.
This team will take part in the CPPS 5 man series as well as the U.K. leg of the Millennium Series.
We like to take a slightly more laid back approach with this team as many of the younger players are not able to afford to train as much or have other commitments such as school or college. You can train as much or as little as you like (to a point of course), the choice is yours.
The SPL and EDS teams train at least twice a month but usually more and the whole squad is supported by the excellent equipment provided by Planet Eclipse and Kee Action Sports as well as top quality paint from RPS.
The weekend is about just playing, meeting the current team and learning some skills in a relaxed and friendly environment. Whether you want to attend either one of the two days or both, it is entirely up to you.
The cost will be:
1 Day £15
2 Days £25.
You can bring your own paint or buy good quality paint from us for the price of £25.50 or 2 boxes for £47.50.
If you don’t have your own set up or would like to bring a friend who has never played before then let us know we can supply all of the kit for you.
