The Wasteland . . . . . . . . .
As we approach the End of Days, the world
is split into two factions: Alphas and Omegas, each vying for items to
survive. When given release, we run into
the Wasteland looking for items for our leader while trying to keep the other
faction at bay. In this post-apocalyptic
world, as it is now, there is one thing that universally helps one acquire
items: gold. Instead of looking for
gold, we set about doing our duty: causing destruction and wreaking havoc.
This game, produced by MPP Games’ own BenTorricelli at Bearclaw Paintball in Fayetteville, TN, was a different direction
then any of his previous games. Instead
of missions, the generals were to hunt out items on the field and either turn
them in for points, barter them with the other team, or trade them in at the
Bartertown for specials (such as tanks, medics, demolitions). The gods of paintball blessed us with
beautiful weather for both playing and merriment afterwards. We had an awesome time between playing
speedball missions and playing the woodsball we love. In the end, it didn’t matter what the points totals
were because our maniacal general blew up the doomsday device with 5 seconds
left in the game.
Our new Geo 3.1’s and LV1’s worked great
all weekend. Anytime we are at an event,
stop by and say hi and feel free to try out some of our equipment or have us
look at your kit if you are having any problems. Test drive our Black Karma Etha to see how
awesome Planet Eclipse products are.
A special thanks to Alysha Baxter for the
great shots she took of us during this game.
Be mindful the upcoming UWL event that
comes to Bearclaw Paintball on March 29th-30th. Teams from across the region will be battling
old school tournament style in the woods.
I know we will be fielding a team in the 10-man and 5-man Tactical
Divisions and we can’t wait. Remember
any marker / hopper combo can be used as long as it can be capped at 10 balls
per second. Do you have a few guys that
want to play, but not enough to field a 10 man crew? This year you also have an opportunity to
field a 5 man crew.
Look us up on our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/blackkarmapaintball) to see where we are going next and to see great new products from
Planet Eclipse.
Looking forward to October's game!
