Papeletto filling the trophy cabinet....

This month, Papeletto attended the two most important events of the country with its two teams. On the 11th and 12th, Rio de Janeiro held the first stage of the CRX event that counted with the presence and participation of American Pro Players, such as Billy Bernacchia, Ryan Greenspan and Blake Yarber. The world champion Billy Bernacchia played for Papeletto once again, after his 3-title achievement with the team in the past. In this event Papeletto Open (D3) was exceptional finishing the preliminary stage in first. Mistakes were made on the semi finals and the team played by Ryan Greenspan from Dynasty overcame us. With the defeat the team finished third.

Meanwhile the new team Papeletto Dark Amateur (D4) won his category. Recalling that the team was formed in January and trained really hard for that contest.

After a weekend of rest both teams competed again; this time on the first stage of CBXball – Brazil’s Xball Circuit. Papeletto mastered the whole event winning on both categories, Open (D3) and Amateur (D4). The Open team (D3) dominated every single game without losing any points at all, scoring 3-0 (race-to-3) on all games. Meanwhile the Amateur team (D4) also finished the event unbeaten winning the semi final and the final by 2-0 (race-to-2) and became champion on it’s second event in a row accomplishing a total of two wins on two appearences since its formation.
