SLC Faction . . . The Journey Continues.

Image
At Faction the number one thing is to have fun. If you don't enjoy what your doing why are you doing it. One of the foundational ideas of our team has always been developing new players. For us, that's fun.  Over the past year we've been focusing on just that. Building and developing players. This philosophy is one of the main reasons we are so proud to be a Planet Eclipse team.  We have found over the years that we've been with Eclipse that they too are dedicated to finding and developing the new player and fostering an environment of support. With Planet Eclipses supprot we have been able to focus on basic skills, advanced skills, teamwork, communication and truly understanding the game of paintball. When you know that your equipment is going to work every time you step on the field you're free to concentrate on the task at hand. Eclipse not only invests in us but invests in our local community as well and we've seen positive results every tim

PSP World Cup...#GOTEAM!

Image
It's officially the week of the world's biggest tournament paintball event on the Planet, the PSP World Cup in Orlando-Florida and we cannot wait! With so much up for grabs this year for our teams we're super excited to see how they all perform. For some, it's about finishing what they started in 2014, for others it's about putting the team in the best possible position for 2015's first event. To help our teams build some momentum this week, beyond providing them with equipment that looks great and performs flawlessly, we thought we'd have some fun with them on social media and generate some online rivalry between them, as well as getting some fan support along the way. It's simple. We've created a number of World Cup graphics for each team that works with all kinds of awesome imagery. Simply share the image, use their hashtags and cheer them on in the real world at Cup. What's that? You don't follow them or us on Instagram? Well, her

Paradise!

Well friends, I was off to the airport on yet another Paintball adventure. This time it was to Cancun, Mexico to attend the MPL CANCUN OPEN. The MPL (Mexican Paintball League) is in it’s 5th year as one the premier leagues in Mexico. MPL league is a joint venture organized by Jose Luiz Alvarez from Planet Eclipse Mexico, Pablo Viegas and Arturo Andrade. All very well known in the Mexican PB Community for the efforts they make for the sport we love. Over 26 teams attended the event, with most of them staying one site at the prestigious all inclusive resort 'Palladium Resort & Spa.' Those who stayed at the resort were easily lost in the paradise. This gorgeous estate covers over 165 acres and has everything from 5 star restaurants to Spas and Poolside Tikis, complete with Wet Bars. Players started about 10:00am to give them enough time to prepare after embracing the local spirit with a night of Margaritas, Tequilas, and any other concoction you could come up with.

Our teams CAN stand the heat.

Every now and then we'll have someone send us a picture that makes us feel awesome. Sometimes it'll be from a brand lover, a team or a player but generally people we have connection with. And we love it. We love to see people using our gear whether they're enjoying it, winning with it, looking good with it or whatever, it's just great to see and makes us feel good. But, we'll sometimes receive an image that makes us feel SUPER-AWESOME and I'm sure you'll all agree that the image here is pretty cool. The image is of Andrew "Jiggs" Sajdera who plays with one of our Stateside teams - Team Capital Offense and as you can see he's jumping over a fire pit. Why not huh?
He's taking part in something called the Spartan Race, which is made up of different endurance competitions similar to Tough Mudder and the likes, with obstacles and challenges thrown into the mix. The events range between 3+ miles (Spartan Sprint), 8+ miles (Super Spartan
